Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together brown sugar and butter until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and maple syrup until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until a dough forms.
Baking
  1. Roll tablespoon-sized balls of dough and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  3. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Glazing
  1. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth.
  2. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies and let set before serving.

Notes
