Ingredients

Pasta
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
Chicken
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast Seasoned with Cajun seasoning
Seasoning and Oils
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust based on spice preference
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the chicken
Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream Use dairy-free alternative for a different version
  • 1 cup chicken broth Can be adjusted for sauce consistency
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for best results

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken with Cajun seasoning.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side.
  2. Remove chicken and let it rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add the cooked fettuccine and sliced chicken to the sauce, mixing well to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes
