Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure the potatoes roast nicely.
  2. Wash the baby potatoes and cut them in half or quarters for even cooking.
  3. Cut the smoked sausage into 1/4-inch thick rounds to infuse flavor.
  4. In a small bowl, mix ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  5. In a large bowl, drizzle the halved potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with half the ranch seasoning mixture. Toss until coated evenly.
  6. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
Cooking
  1. Evenly scatter the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  2. Distribute the sliced sausage over the potatoes evenly.
  3. Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and tender. Stir halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  4. Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving
