Ingredients

Pasta and Sauce
  • 8 oz pasta Any type of pasta can be used.
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables Peas, corn, or carrots can be added as alternatives.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Can substitute with homemade white sauce or dairy-free alternative.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional) Add for extra creaminess.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, combine the shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until everything is warmed through.
  2. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir well to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.
  3. If you’d like, sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the pasta mixture and let it melt for an extra cheesy finish.
