Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained green beans, the cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir gently.
  4. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25 minutes, until the casserole is bubbling around the edges.
  2. Remove the dish from the oven and stir in 2/3 cup of the French-fried onions, folding them gently into the mixture.
  3. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes, until hot.
  4. Top with the remaining French-fried onions before serving.

Notes
