Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked pasta, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, chicken broth, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden.
Once it’s out of the oven, garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
You can easily swap out the cooked chicken for rotisserie chicken to save time. For a lighter version, try using Greek yogurt in place of the cream cheese. Add some vegetables like steamed broccoli or bell peppers for a nutritious punch. You could also stir in some hot sauce for an extra kick! Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or cover with aluminum foil and warm in the oven until heated through.
