  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked pasta, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, chicken broth, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden.
  7. Once it’s out of the oven, garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

You can easily swap out the cooked chicken for rotisserie chicken to save time. For a lighter version, try using Greek yogurt in place of the cream cheese.
