Ingredients

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large halved) You can substitute with turkey cutlets or tofu for vegetarian option.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Sauce
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream Plant-based cream for dairy-free option.
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional) Consider adding sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  3. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Creamy Garlic Sauce
  1. Lower heat and add minced garlic to the pan.
  2. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in cream, stirring continuously.
  4. Add Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth.
  5. If using, stir in chopped spinach and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Combining and Serving
  1. Return the cooked chicken to the pan, spooning sauce over the top.
  2. Simmer for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  3. Serve hot with pasta, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes.
