Glaze Ingredients
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the mashed bananas, brown sugar, and softened butter until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
Glazing
  1. For the glaze, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
