Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Baking

  2. Top the casserole with French fried onions and sprinkle additional grated cheese for extra flavor.
  3. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
