Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic cloves, soy sauce, olive oil, a pinch of salt, and a few cracks of black pepper. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in a baking dish and pour the honey garlic mixture evenly over the top, making sure the fillets are well coated.

Notes

Pat the salmon dry before applying the glaze so the sauce sticks and the fish roasts rather than steams. If your honey is very thick, warm it slightly in the microwave before mixing. Watch the oven during the last few minutes to avoid burning the honey; if it starts to brown too quickly, tent loosely with foil.
