Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface until about 1/8–1/4 inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into small rectangles (about 2x3 inches, or your preferred bite size).
  4. Place a slice of low-fat pepperoni and a small amount of low-fat cheese on each rectangle.
  5. Sprinkle each with a pinch of Italian seasoning and a light dusting of garlic powder.
  6. Roll up the dough around the filling and place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Spray the tops lightly with olive oil spray to promote browning.
Baking

  2. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Can freeze assembled (but unbaked) pizza rolls in a single layer, then transfer to a freezer bag. Bake from frozen, adding extra minutes to the baking time. For air fryer, cook at 350°F (175°C) for about 8–12 minutes.
