Cooking the Chicken
Heat a little olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper and add it to the skillet.
Cook until golden and no longer pink in the center, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
Making the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the cherry tomatoes and Italian seasoning, stirring until the tomatoes begin to soften.
Pour in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is well combined and slightly thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
Final Steps
Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to simmer in the sauce for a couple of minutes.
Garnish with fresh basil and serve.
Notes
Serve hot with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes. Add a simple green salad or steamed vegetables on the side.
