Method
Preparation
In a large bowl, measure out 4 cups of Rice Chex cereal and set it aside.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup of white chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of butter together in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth.
Pour the melted mixture over the cereal and gently stir to coat all the pieces evenly.
In a separate bag or bowl, combine 1 cup of strawberry cake mix and 1/4 cup of powdered sugar.
Add the coated cereal to the bag or bowl and shake until every piece is fully coated.
Gently fold in 1/2 cup of sliced strawberries to add a fresh, fruity flavor.
Spread the puppy chow out on a baking sheet to cool before serving.
Notes
For variations, consider mixing in some chopped nuts or mini marshmallows before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or refrigerate for longer storage.
