  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts Clean and halved
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For tossing

  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced and added near the end
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated, for serving
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar Drizzled before serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Clean and halve the Brussels sprouts.
  3. Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Roasting
  1. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and roast for about 20-25 minutes until golden and tender.
  2. In the last 5 minutes of roasting, add minced garlic.
  3. Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

Serve warm on a platter. You can add extra Parmesan at the table. This dish pairs well with turkey, ham, roast beef, or vegetarian mains.
