Method
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Clean and halve the Brussels sprouts.
Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Roasting
Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and roast for about 20-25 minutes until golden and tender.
In the last 5 minutes of roasting, add minced garlic.
Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
Serve warm on a platter. You can add extra Parmesan at the table. This dish pairs well with turkey, ham, roast beef, or vegetarian mains. To store, cool the sprouts to room temperature, place them in an airtight container, and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes. Avoid the microwave to maintain crispiness.
