Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned, making sure to break it apart with a spatula for even cooking.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the cooked sausage, optional bread, and vegetables.
