Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter (softened) Use room temperature butter for better mixing.
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 cups powdered sugar Add more if the mix is too soft.
  • 1 cup shredded coconut Use sweetened or unsweetened according to preference.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Coating
  • 1 cup additional shredded coconut For rolling before serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  2. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
  3. Stir in the shredded coconut and vanilla extract until evenly distributed.
  4. Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Chilling
  1. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  2. Optionally, roll the snowballs in additional shredded coconut before serving.
